Two ways to bulk-create UTM links
Every combination
Use this when one campaign goes out through many channels. List the landing pages, sources and mediums one per line and the builder creates the full matrix: 3 pages × 4 sources × 2 mediums becomes 24 links, each with identical spelling. Optional lists for content, term and campaign ID multiply in the same way, so keep them short.
From a CSV or spreadsheet
Use this when every row is different – a media plan, an influencer list or an export from your project tracker. Paste the cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets (tabs are detected automatically) or upload a CSV. The first row must name the columns; url, utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign are required, and friendly names such as “Website URL”, “Source” or “Campaign name” are recognised too.
- Choose a mode and enter your lists or rows.
- Keep “Force lowercase” on and pick dash or underscore for spaces.
- Press “Generate links”. Invalid URLs are listed with their row number; everything else is built.
- Check the predicted GA4 channel column for anything that will land in “Unassigned”.
- Copy all URLs or download the CSV, which includes the cleaned values and the channel for each link.
Why a bulk builder beats copy-paste
Copying a link and editing one value at a time is where most UTM mistakes come from: a capital letter here, a leftover value from the previous row there, a second question mark when the landing page already had one. A bulk builder applies exactly the same rules to every link, so the dataset is consistent by construction. It also handles the URL edge cases – existing query strings, #fragments and stray spaces – that many spreadsheet formulas get wrong.
